Come join us this Sunday, August 26 from 1 – 4 PM at Bruce Spicer Park for Canning’s Annual Picnic in the Park!
Come work out and improve your fitness at the Canning MultiComplex Fitness Centre. Open Monday – Friday from 8:15 AM until 1 PM, and on Saturdays from 9 – 11:30 AM. The fitness centre will be closed whenever the office is closed and during holidays and announced storm closures. The drop-in fee is just a toonie ($2)!
You’re invited to Canning’s Sidewalk Sale on Saturday, August 18 from 10 AM – 2 PM. The 9th Annual Rockabilly Weekend hosted by Chad Hiltz ‘s Green Goblin will be on the same weekend August 18 – 19 and it’s going to be an exciting, busy weekend!
To add to the fun, Villagers in period costumes will be mingling with visitors during the sale. K-ROCK radio will be advertising the sidewalk sale the entire week leading up to the event and we’ll be advertising on social media.
Everyone is welcome to come and shop, stay, play, and enjoy a delicious coffee, treat, or a meal right in the Village! If you’re a business and would like to get involved, contact CABDA’s Lynn Eisener for more details at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (902) 471-9308.
See you there!
